GC Republican Women’s Meeting: March 16th

Dear Gaston County Republican Women,
The 2017 Gaston County GOP Lincoln Day Dinner was a wonderful gathering of the Party. All enjoyed fellowship and dinner at Gaston County Club, with keynote speaker Lt. Gov. Dan Forest. Mary Anne Huggins, the GCGOP Chairman, hosted the Dinner, NC Representative John Torbett was the Master of Ceremony. Our very own Sharon Jarvis Moss sang the National Anthem.
Chairman Huggins announced the Chairman Awards. Recipients were GCGOP officers: Brad Overcash; Neil Chastain; Pat C. Smith; Juanita Wagner.
The GCGOP Republican of the Year Award was presented to Neil Chastain. The Senator James Forrester Lifetime Achievement was presented to Viddia Torbett. The GCGOP Republican Service Awards went to Joe Carpenter, Jack Brown and Alice Brown.
The GCRW congratulate all 2017 Award Winners and thank them for their meritorious service to the Republican Party.
The GCRW especially congratulate Chairman Mary Anne Huggins and her committee for their devotion and many hours of service, which lead our County GOP to Republican victories this past November. The effects of her efforts will be seen for many years to come.
