About Commissioner Mike Cause

North Carolina Insurance Commissioner and State Fire Marshal Mike Causey has been a small businessman, insurance agent, and insurance agency owner with 25 years in the insurance industry.

Mike Causey is a native of Guilford County and still lives in the same house on the Causey family farm where he grew up, residing there with his wife of 43 years, Hisae, and their family pets.

Commissioner Mike Causey likes to stay busy, and looks forward to learning the insurance and safety needs of North Carolina families and businesses as he seeks to serve the citizens of North Carolina.
