CALL TO PRECINCT MEETINGS & COUNTY CONVENTION
2017 PRECINCT MEETINGS – March 4, 2017 (9am-10am)
LOCATION: The 2017 Precinct Meetings will be held at the Gaston County DHHS – Social Services Division Auditorium, which is located at 330 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way, on the corner of Long Avenue.
TIME: Registration for Precinct meetings and Convention from 8:00 am to 9:00 am. You cannot register after 9:00 am. Precinct meetings start PROMPTLY at 9:00 am.
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: All registered Republicans are invited and encouraged to attend. The registration fee is $10.00 payable in cash, check, or credit card.
FOOD: A breakfast/brunch catered by the Gaston County Republican Women (GCRW) will be available for $10.00 (cash) from 8:00 am until 10:00 am as a fundraiser for the GCRW.
ELECTION FOR PRECINCTS: The following positions will be chosen to serve 2017-2019 terms – Precinct Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Secretary.
COUNTY CONVENTION – March 4, 2017 (10am-12 noon)
LOCATION: Same as Precinct Meeting
TIME: Starts promptly at 10 am.
ELECTION FOR COUNTY: The following positions will be chosen to serve 2017-2019 terms – Gaston County Republican Officers, the Township Chairs, and the Township At-Large Members.
Please note the convention delegates will be eligible to attend the 10th Congressional District Convention (held April 29, 2017 in Shelby) and NCGOP Convention (held June 2-3 in Wilmington).
