In 2012, in his first run for elected office at any level, Dan Forest became only the second Republican since 1897 to be elected Lieutenant Governor in the state of North Carolina. Dan’s victory to the State’s second highest office came after he personally traveled nearly 300,000 miles to all 100 counties.
